This summer I am lucky enough to conduct a much larger research program; Why people leave terrorist groups, specifically the Lords Resistance Army (LRA). I, along with two of my colleagues will be traveling from Rwanda, up through the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and into Uganda. I plan on keeping this blog up to date with all of the places we travel and the things that we will be doing. When it gets closer to time to leave I will explain a bit more what exactly the research is that we will be conducting. I hope to share this experience with everyone, and who knows, maybe it will inspire one of you to go to Africa!
